JDG SAMURAI Representative Yuki Minemoto

He served as the head of the Japanese drumming club at Kihoku Agricultural High School.

Upon graduating from high school, I embarked on a career as a professional Japanese taiko drummer.


Since then, he has performed over 1500 times both domestically and internationally, and is active as a soloist, in teams, and in units, mainly in the Kansai region. Recently, he has also been focusing on teaching Japanese taiko drumming, providing lessons to students from juniors to seniors.

Based in Kinokawa City, she runs a Japanese taiko drumming school and currently teaches 12 classes.

In 2004 (age 18), he served as the club president of the Wakayama Prefectural Kihoku Agricultural High School Taiko Drum Club and composed three original songs.
In 2004 (at age 18), he joined a professional Japanese taiko drumming agency and has since performed at numerous events and live music venues.

In 2009, as a member of the professional taiko drumming unit OTO-za, I participated in the Japan-Mekong Tour, a five-country Asian tour commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, marking my first overseas performance.
In the summer of 2011, at the Tokyo International Taiko Drumming Contest, WaZoku's unique expressive power was recognized, and they received the Fighting Spirit Award, placing third in the world—the first time a group from Wakayama Prefecture has received this award.
In the winter of 2011, she co-starred with enka singer Miyuki Kawachinaka and others in the stage production "Tenkuu no Yume" at the Meijiza Theater.
In August 2012, I participated in the final round of the Okaya Taiko World Taiko Solo Drumming Contest.
In the winter of 2012, the high school alumni team, Yuukogaku, was formed. They composed "Matsukaze," a piece for taiko drumming and Tsugaru shamisen ensemble, and premiered it at the local Ajisai Hall, where it was a great success.
Participated in the final round of the Okaya World Taiko Drumming Contest in Nagano Prefecture in August 2013.
Participated in the final round of the Aichi Prefecture West Japan Championship, Taiko Drum Division, in September 2013 and 2015.

In 2014, I received an offer to perform at the EXILE Summer Concert in Oita.
Participated in the final round of the Okaya World Taiko Drumming Contest in Nagano Prefecture in June 2014 and 2015.
Participated in the final round of the Mt. Fuji Taiko Drumming Contest in July 2014 and 2015.
In June 2015, I participated in the TBS show SASUKE as a taiko drummer.
Since 2019, I have left a certain taiko drumming agency and am now working as a soloist.

I teach taiko drumming, compose music, and collaborate with other artists. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
