We have established a support group.
The dreams and concepts envisioned by the JDG SAMURAI Taiko Drumming Office.

I want to create a community and revitalize the region in my hometown of Wakayama by promoting and developing traditional culture, and connecting Japanese taiko drumming with welfare!

Concept for Students: ◎Through the students' work on their projects, we aim to convey our gratitude to parents and family members, clarify the students' future challenges and goals, and create a "place of discovery" for maintaining and improving their motivation.

◎Through collaborative creative activities with peers, students learn etiquette and how to interact with others, and gain a sense of accomplishment from the applause they receive from customers, acknowledging the success of their accumulated efforts.

My activity concept

◎ To encourage interest in traditional performing arts within the local community and promote the advancement and development of traditional performing arts.

◎ Building a community rooted in the local area, connecting Japanese taiko drumming and welfare (holding stage performances, workshops, etc.).

◎ To implement initiatives and PR activities that will generate interest in Japanese taiko drumming among as many people as possible. (In collaboration with event companies and fellow entrepreneurs, through advertising, publicity, social media use, and partnerships.)

◎We are also working on youth development and creating a community that can be energized by the power of young people.

◎ To create an environment where people with disabilities, those receiving welfare benefits, and the next generation of children can connect with the local community through the tool of Japanese taiko drumming, develop their individuality, and provide a place for them to express themselves and showcase their talents.

Greetings from the Chairman of the Supporters' Association

Greetings from the newly appointed Chairman of the Supporters' Association of the Wadaiko Mine-no-kai (Japanese Taiko Drumming Group)

My name is Hiroko Takada, and I have been appointed as the first chairperson of the newly established "Wadaiko Mine no Kai" Supporters' Association.
When I was considering taking on such an important role, I initially hesitated because of my own age. However, I received the greatest compliment I could have received: "We are asking you because we know how you have lived your life despite your advanced age." That's what ultimately convinced me to take on the role.
Now that I have accepted the role, I will dedicate all my energy and strength to it and do my utmost.

The Japanese taiko drum is a traditional Japanese instrument, and its sound has the power to stir the soul of the listener.
And I am convinced that these vibrations are a wonderful "sound spirit" that harmonizes people's hearts and brings out the vitality of people and communities.

I have always felt the spirit and passion for children and the community that Mr. Minemoto, the representative of the Taiko Drumming Organization JDG SAMURAI, who is active in the Taiko drumming world on a daily basis, always speaks of, and I have been one of his supporters.
Going forward, we will express our gratitude for your cooperation and support,
With the hope that this organization will continue to develop and that the circle of support we receive from all of you will grow significantly, I offer this inaugural address with a sense of determination.
