Membership Rules
To ensure a comfortable learning environment for all students, we have posted the rules here. Please read them carefully and follow the rules so that we can enjoy our lessons together. Thank you for your cooperation.

Japanese Taiko Drumming Class Membership Terms and Conditions To all members
June 30, 2020 [Membership qualifications]
◎Those who understand and agree to the operating policies and objectives of our office◎
1. If the applicant is a minor, parental consent is required. 2. Applicants must be in good physical and mental health and not prohibited from exercising by a doctor or other medical professional. 3. Applicants must not be applying for business or solicitation purposes. 4. Applicants must not be affiliated with organized crime. 5. We reserve the right to refuse membership to anyone deemed unsuitable by our studio. [Regarding Membership Procedures]
1. Please fill out the membership application form provided by our office and submit it along with the first month's lesson fee and drumstick fee.
2. Membership is valid until you cancel your membership.
3. Once paid, lesson fees are generally non-refundable, regardless of the circumstances.
4. After joining, you will be required to pay lesson fees until you withdraw or suspend your membership.
[Regarding class cancellations]
1. Due to circumstances at our studio (such as events), there may be fewer than four lessons in the course.
2. Lessons may be canceled due to the instructor's illness or other reasons.
3. In the event of class cancellation or delays due to the instructor's circumstances, the instructor will notify you. Please be aware that in some cases, class cancellations due to the instructor's urgent business or illness may be decided on the day of the class.
4. We do not offer refunds for lessons missed due to the student's personal reasons. We generally do not offer make-up lessons, but if a lesson is canceled due to circumstances at our studio, we will primarily offer make-up lessons. However, if make-up lessons are not possible, we will refund the amount for the lessons in that month. (Full refund if all lessons are canceled; if you attend only one of two lessons, you will pay half and receive a 50% refund.) *In other unavoidable circumstances, we may offer make-up lessons for the team or individuals.
Refunds will be processed according to the method specified by our office.
5. Classes may be unavoidably canceled due to transportation strikes, natural disasters, government directives, traffic accidents, or prior circumstances of the instructor.
6. Matters not covered by these regulations will be presented by our office on a case-by-case basis.
[Important notes and etiquette regarding our studio and during classes]
1. In order to ensure the smooth running of the lesson, please be aware that we may refuse your participation in the lesson if you intentionally engage in actions that significantly disrupt the lesson's operation, or if you engage in behavior that violates social morals or causes trouble to other customers or instructors. (Examples: shouting, not following the instructor's instructions, lacking cooperation, etc.) When attending a lesson, please enter the classroom by the start time. (If you enter the classroom early, there may be other people already taking the lesson, so please refrain from talking, running, or causing a disturbance in the studio. Please note that you may be asked to leave if you do not comply.)
2. Unauthorized solicitation, sale of goods, exchange of money or goods, and distribution of flyers are strictly prohibited within this studio.
3. If you are feeling unwell, please refrain from participating in the lesson. In particular, if you have an infectious disease such as influenza or any other illness that could be transmitted to or infect others, you will be refused participation.
4. While we will provide first aid for any injuries or sudden illnesses that occur within our studio, please understand that our studio will not be held responsible for any accidents.
5. Please manage your own valuables and personal belongings. The studio will not be held responsible for any theft, loss, or forgotten items.
6. Please refrain from damaging or destroying any equipment or facilities within our studio. In the event of any damage or destruction, we may seek compensation depending on the extent of the damage.
7. Please refrain from making personal contact or consultations with instructors that go beyond common sense (our studio will not be involved in any way with personal information or content of direct communication between instructors and students outside of lesson hours).
8. Please refrain from using your mobile phone during lessons, except in emergencies. Please turn off your phone or switch it to silent mode beforehand.
9. When taking lessons, recording, photographing, or making audio recordings without the permission of the instructor and studio is prohibited.
10. Private conversations, words, or actions that disrupt the lesson are prohibited.
11. During lessons, entry to the studio is prohibited for anyone other than the person taking the lesson (except with the instructor's permission).
12. If you intentionally damage the studio's facilities, cause trouble to members, instructors, or staff, defame anyone, engage in any behavior that disrupts the studio's operations or damages its reputation, or intentionally fail to pay any fees, you will be forcibly removed from the studio. The same measures will be taken if the studio deems any other behavior to be fraudulent.
[Membership Suspension Procedure]
If you are unable to attend lessons for an extended period, please submit a leave of absence request. You will not be required to pay lesson fees during the leave of absence. Furthermore, you will not need to resubmit a membership application when you resume lessons. If you wish to do so, please follow the procedures specified by our studio.
[Cancellation Procedure]
To withdraw your membership, you must submit a withdrawal form. There are no fees or other charges associated with withdrawal. Please ensure you settle any outstanding payments before proceeding. If you wish to withdraw, please follow the procedures specified by our office.
